Please accept this invitation to the 2013 Pennsylvania Farmers Union Annual Convention.
We are seeking your knowledge, experience and good faith at this year’s convention as we focus on playing a more active role on the legislative front. We are aiming to offer a wider range of insurance products and farm-relevant discounts and need your input to ensure that we are responsibly representing your interests.
You are an invaluable member. Come and make your voice be heard by helping us to rebuild this organization, one that has played and can continue to play a rich and vital role in Pennsylvania’s agriculture. Bring an open mind as well as a willingness to move forward and to actively engage with other members.
We are a new board and a new staff, all working hard for you. Hannah Smith-Brubaker joined the Pennsylvania Farmers Union late last year as its director and is working hard to increase the relevance of the Farmers Union in our Commonwealth, our sense of community, and the responsiveness of the organization to its members.
In an effort to encourage attendance, we ask only that members pay $15 at the door (lunch is provided). Should this charge prevent you from attending, please contact us. Camp Hebron also has very reasonable overnight cabin accommodations, should you want to stay the night. Please contact Hannah for more information on this option or with any other questions.
